3 DAYS, 2 NIGHTS SAFARI TO TARANGIRE AND LAKE EYASI AND NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
This 5-day safari covers three top attractions in Northern Tanzania. While located near one another, each national park features unique aspects; Lake Eyasi; mighty elephants in Tarangire National Park; and the endangered rhino in Ngorongoro. Across these three locations, you are sure to capture photos of the Big Five of Africa: elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhino and lion.
Itinerary
After arrive at KIA (Kilimanjaro International Airport), you will meet our representative at the airport ready to pick you to your hotel/lodge where you will spend overnight.
Early in the morning, after having breakfast, our guide will come to pick you at your hotel/lodge, drive you to Tarangire where you will have game drive, picnic lunch, game drive before going to your lodge/hotel at Karatu town. Enroute to Tarangire and Ngorongoro, you may decide to stop at supermarket for buying drinks, snacks, and sweets or any area that will catch your attention for any reason (e.g. curio shops).
Early breakfast. Drive to Lake Eyasi (about 1 hour). You will meet various ethnic groups but mostly targeted are Hadzabe (hunters and root gatherer) and Datoga (blacksmith). You will learn how to hunt practically, collect edible food such as roots and honey and how things made out of metal. After a long day of learning primitive life of these indigenous, evening you will drive back to your lodge/hotel at Karatu town where and spend overnight.
Early breakfast. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Gate (about 15 minutes). Mostly you will spend the whole day in Ngorongoro Crater while enjoying game viewing and picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok spring. Then evening drive back to Moshi/Arusha at your hotel/lodge.
Our representative will come to pick you at your hotel/lodge where you will spend overnight and drop you at KIA (Kilimanjaro International Airport).
